My fascination with LEGO started at an early age. I was 3 years old when I was given my first LEGO set. But my first introduction with LEGO is through an interactive game and videos. I was so hook in those videos that I would spend hours watching it. When I got my first LEGO set, I was in heaven, and I never look back. From simple design to a more elaborate and complicated, I have it and build it. From simple train sets to a more bigger train design. I got hook on mini figures too. Having a hobby building LEGOs is very expensive. My parents give me a budget every month and this, I get to spend on LEGO items. Sometimes, my mom would buy LEGO abroad since its much cheaper in another country than here in the Philippines.
My parents encourage me with this hobby and sometimes indulge me. My dad is ok with it since this hobby is educational (Engineer till the end) and it will help me focus and would engage my analytical mind (according to the mom). I have a programmable LEGO, the EV3 robots (pricey but not the most expensive). Little did my dad know that I was not so much into programming, but I did somehow have an aptitude towards it. I was just not into it. As I grow older, I still collects LEGO and play with it. But sadly, I don't have enough space in my room for all my beautiful pieces. So, for now, they must stay in my LEGO box until I have a big space for all of them.
I started playing video games when I got my first handheld game console. But before that, my first introduction to a videogame was through my therapy. It helps me focus on my task and makes me stay put for longer amounts of time. By the time I was in first grade I was already a serious video game enthusiast that my mom became seriously worried. Then I got my first game console (not handheld) and it was awesome. Then I got the Nintendo Wii. Now this is a serious business now. I got hook playing videogames. My mom set a time for me to play otherwise I would play without a care 24/7. I had had other hobbies growing up, like theater school and swimming. But the video gaming became my go to hobby. Today, I am currently using an Xbox game console for my video games. I like playing Assassin's Creed, Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare, Forza Horizon, Call of Duty, and even Gears of War. Hence, I collect game weaponry too. They are all made to order wooden carvings.
